Colista Matsaw, MBA, is a Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Member and the Chief Executive Officer of Shoshone Bannock Gaming Enterprises, a role she officially assumed on May 23, 2024. With over 28 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, Colista has built a distinguished career grounded in operational excellence, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to the communities she serves.
As CEO, Colista leads a team dedicated to operational success, guiding the organization’s growth while remaining firmly rooted in the values of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. She is recognized for her focus on delivering “Legendary Service,” strengthening organizational performance, and navigating complex regulatory and business environments with clarity and confidence. Her leadership style is both authentic and results-driven, centered on accountability, empowerment, and long-term sustainability.
In addition to her executive leadership role, Colista actively contributes to regional and educational initiatives. She serves on the Tribal University Advisory Board for Idaho State University and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chubbuck Pocatello Chamber of Commerce, further demonstrating her commitment to community development, education, and economic growth. Colista has two sons and one 3 year old grandson.
